Mr. Paul Sannie Minlah is the Founder and Managing Director of DMT Collateral Management Company. He is a Trade Finance expert with extensive knowledge in Trade Finance and related areas. He holds a B.A. Honors degree in Economics and a Diploma of Education from the University of Cape Coast. He also holds an M.B.A. in International Business from Leeds University Business School in the United Kingdom.
Mr. Minlah worked as an Accounts Relationship Officer with Ecobank Ghana Limited. Prior to working with Ecobank, he worked for Shell Ghana Limited as a Lubricants Planner managing the supply chain process for all locally blended and imported lubricants.
In 2007, Mr. Minlah entered into a strategic relationship with Nedbank Capital of South Africa for the arrangement of structured trade lines ranging from US$5 million to US$10 million. The structured trade lines were all done under Collateral Management. He successfully arranged for a number of Ghanaian companies, various trade lines through Nedbank Capital.
Mr. Minlah remains one of the pioneers in the collateral management industry within West Africa and through DMT Collateral, in collaboration with other initiatives, successfully secured trade lines for a large number of SMEs and other corporates within West Africa.
Yaa T. Minlah
Human Resource Director
Yaa T. Minlah is the Administrative and Human Resources Manager of DMT Collateral. Yaa T. Minlah was a former employee at the Office of the President. She joined DMT as a Human Resource and Administrative Manager after resigning from her former employers. Yaa T. Minlah is a member of a number of professional bodies in Ghana. She has broad treasury, risk management and corporate finance experience in the private and public sectors. Her core strengths include being able to provide value‐added commercial advice to management and company branding expertise.She has worked as an independent consultant for the last 6 years providing support to management in various industries including security, manufacturing, media and logistics. Tatiana E.A. Biawu
TATIANA E. A. BIAWU is the Risk Manager for DMT Collateral. As part of her daily routine, she is in charge of developing processes to be followed to mitigate against risks associated with each contract following clients’ specifications. Tatiana ensures that processes, terms, and conditions under each contract are duly adhered to in the daily operations of the company. She is also responsible for the service process control to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and leads the operations team to plan and implement improvement activities.
Before joining DMT in 2013, Tatiana worked in various capacities in other sectors and with stakeholders from multicultural background within and outside Ghana. She is very fluent in the French language (spoken and written) and has a broad knowledge in survey design/organization, data processing/analysis and interpretation.
TATIANA holds a bachelor’s degree in Statistics and Sociology from the University Ghana Legon, as well as a Master of Business Administration Degree in Total Quality Management from the University of Professional Studies Accra, Ghana.
Compliance and Documentation Manager
Ms Millicent Awuye is the Compliance & Documentation Manager at DMT. She has been with DMT for over 7 years. She holds a Psychology and English Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Ghana, Legon. She manages the documentation in accordance with organizational policies to comply with national and internal standards. She ensures that the company is following all ethical and legal requirements to help minimize financial and legal risks. As part of her role, she is responsible for advising financial institutions on the release of commodities to trading entities. She also monitors and evaluates the activities of the trading entities, including Warehouse Operators.
Head, Collateral Management
She is the head of the Collateral Management team at DMT. She is a graduate of University of Cape Coast and holds a Mathematics & Statistics Bachelor’s Degree. She oversees the back-end of the collateral management process, monitors and reports all collateral management movements. She has experience in organizational and business processes as well as stock auditing, logistics and inventory management, data collection, analysis and interpretation.
Pearl Buadu is a Collateral Manager at DMT. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications Management from the Amsterdam University of Applied Science, The Netherlands. She is responsible for account reconciliations for several agribusinesses, including cocoa and cashew processing companies. As part of her role, she manages daily reports for the monitoring, inspection, warehousing and distribution of commodities and delivers status reports to stakeholders.
Burton Boaitey Ntiamoah
Field Operations Manager
Mr. Burton Boaitey Ntiamoah is the Field Operations Manager at DMT. He is an oil and gas specialist and has over 10 years of experience in the industry. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Cooperate and Business Development Studies from Pentecost University College, Ghana. He oversees petroleum product transfers from vessels to depots. In 2019 he successfully supported and secured a transaction with Vitol and Tema Oil Refinery to manage the refining process of 11 million barrels of Crude Oil, which is currently ongoing.
He is the Warehouse Supervisor at DMT and has over 8 years of experience in Agribusiness and Warehousing Management. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from UPSA, Ghana. He is responsible for the daily warehouse site visits where he conducts physical stock counts, reconciliations, controls, security and supervision of the warehouse staff. He facilitates field trainings, scheduling and coaching.
In addition to these key staff members, DMT has over 50 Field Agents who are stationed in several storage facilities across 10 regions in Ghana. These Field Agents are responsible for stock counts, quality control, testing, warehouse inspections, security and logistics.
